Middle/Upper Primary School Classroom Teacher - St John's Campus

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle/Upper Primary School Classroom Teacher to work at our St John’s Campus in Highgate. The position requires the capacity to teach within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme and the Australian Curriculum. Working collaboratively with year level teams and single subject teachers will be central to the roles in the Primary School.

The Primary Classroom Teacher:

Faculty Leader - Identities & Futures - Concordia Campus

Full-time ongoing teaching position, PAR tenured for 2 years
Commencing 2027 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to lead our Identities & Futures faculty. Faculty Leaders provide leadership of their respective faculty, including curriculum and learning, teachers and pedagogy, and facilities and resources. Faculty Leaders play a critical role in ensuring the College offers a high-quality and contemporary learning offering that supports students to achieve personal excellence and readiness for future study, work and life.

A time allowance of approximately 0.4FTE is provided to fulfil the responsibilities of the position.

Faculty-Specific Responsibilities – Identities and Futures:
• Oversee the curriculum, teaching and learning for Exploring Identities & Futures, Activating Identities & Futures, and VET in School subjects across Years 7-12.
• Monitor the progress of students regarding SACE Identities & Futures requirements, intervening as necessary.
• Lead and oversee the Australian Business Week program for Year 10.
• Oversee existing and develop future opportunities for VET in School programs.
• Identify and develop relationships with industry and business partners for student internships.
• Work with the Careers and VET Coordinators in supporting events such as career expos and course counselling.
• Lead the development and implementation of knowledge-rich curriculum programs within the faculty, in-line with relevant frameworks and requirements (i.e., SACE, VET), including the development and maintenance of relevant documents (i.e., scope and sequence).
• Model and share high-quality, evidence-informed, contemporary teaching practices that align with the College’s learning direction and the specific curriculum and co-curriculum programs in the faculty.
• Support, monitor and mentor staff working in the faculty, creating opportunities for staff to lead and grow professionally.

Math / STEM Inclusive Learning Support Officer - Concordia Campus

We are seeking an experienced Groundsperson to join our College and assist in maintaining the College grounds, gardens and outdoor sporting facilities to a high standard.

The Groundsperson will:

• Carry out routine maintenance of College grounds and oval surfaces
• Prepare and maintain the main oval to support College activities and sporting events
• Maintain gardens, lawns and landscaped areas across college campuses
• Operate, maintain and care for horticultural machinery, equipment and tools
• Perform horticultural maintenance including planting, pruning, irrigation, fertilising, pest and weed control
• Ensure all grounds are maintained in a safe, clean and aesthetically pleasing condition
• Contribute to the ongoing presentation and improvement of the College's outdoor environments
• Work collaboratively with the Property & Facilities team to support College operations
• Undertakes other duties as determined from time to time by the Head of College or Operations Manager

Bus Driver

School Bus Run - Morning (7:00 – 8:30am) and Afternoon (3:00 – 4:30pm) 
Minimum of 2 hours per shift
Term weeks only with the potential for additional day-to-day property services duties and some Vacation Care bus duties 

The College is seeking an experienced, reliable and friendly Bus Driver to assist with the morning and afternoon school bus runs for our St John's and St Peters primary campuses. 

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ the Role

• Maintain passenger safety at all times, obeying traffic laws and abiding by relevant College Policies.
• Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus, reporting any issues or faults in accordance with the College’s reporting procedures.
• Engage with students boarding and alighting the bus and provide additional mobility assistance as required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Assist in planning and adjusting bus routes as required.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ You

• Relevant qualifications, including MR/HR License, Large Passenger Vehicle Accreditation, current First Aid Certificate, valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and RRHAN-EC Certificate.
• Strong commitment to working collaboratively to meet College goals.
• Demonstrated ability and experience driving large buses according to the law on busy metropolitan roads.
• Experience in cleaning and carrying out basic maintenance checks on buses.
• Good working knowledge or the road rules and practices relevant to the safe operation of buses and the work health and safety requirements relevant to the position.
• Reliable in attendance and consistent in the provision of reliable bus services.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills that enable a positive working relationship with staff and students.
